We have been focussing on discussion about each individual child's positive contribution to our classroom. We have used the programs Fun Friends and Bounceback to discuss various feelings we have as individuals and also our relationship with other students in our classroom and school.
LITERACY
READING
All children continue to have their Home Reader changed each day. Thanks to those parents who give their time to complete this task.
Each child is given a new Guided Reading book. It would be appreciated if this book could also be revised over the week.
SPELLING
Thanks to all the parents who support their child to learn their spelling words each week. Our weekly test is each Friday. The word list is kept in your child's reading folder.
SWIMMING PROGRAM
Our school swimming program will be held in weeks 9 & 10 of this term. You will receive a note about this soon.
